The Simpler the Better…

 Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

In undertaking the engraving on our range of Corporate Giftware we are often asked about what kind of logo looks best. The general rule of thumb is that the more simple the logo can be made, then the better it will look on our Silver Plated Business Gifts.

Less is most definitely more… For example; on silver plated promotional gifts, if a logo has a blocked out area of colour then we suggest just having it in outline rather than shaded when engraved. This give the pleasant effect of having the logo discretely on a product rather than it being too obvious (unless of course, if that was the required outcome).

Silver color is a great color as a gift.

As a graphic artist I can attest to this. You would not believe the customers who want the tiniest little words and details. It just won’t work.
